[NEWS] Pepe Reina: "Saya Bahagia, Tapi Saya Gak Mau Menjanjikan Cinta Abadi Kepada Siapapun"

Akhir-akhir ini terdengar rumor bahwa Pepe Reina tengah diincar Manchester United dan Arsenal. Namun Reina gak mengumbar sumpah setianya bakal tetap di Anfield. Dia mungkin terlihat gak betah lagi setelah ditinggal rekan senegaranya, Fernando Torres.

Beberapa musim lalu hampir separuh armada The Reds diperkuat oleh pemain Spanyol. Sebut saja Luis Garcia, Xabi Alonso, Fernando Morientes, Alvaro Arbeloa, Albert Riera, Fernando Torres, dan beberapa pemain yang belum sempat bersinar macam Antonio Nuñes, dan Mikel San Jose. Liverpool pun pada waktu itu dilatih oleh orang Spanyol, Rafael Benitez. Kini yang tersisa di klub kota pelabuhan hanya 2 punggawa asal Spanyol yakni Pepe Reina dan Dani Pacheco. Namun Dani masih 21 tahun dan belum mendapat tempat di skuad inti.

Pepe Reina sendiri menyangkal hal ini. "Tepatnya bukan seperti itu. Saya masih punya 24 rekan setim di Liverpool. Tapi," dia menambahkan "ini adalah waktu yang sulit. Saya dan Fernando (Torres) berteman baik. Melihatnya bermain melawan kami mengenakan seragam biru begitu asing buat saya. Ini membuat saya merasa bernostalgia. Dulu ketika saya datang kesini, ada 5 pemain Spanyol ditambah dengan staf pelatih. Kini hanya tinggal aku sendiri. Aku ingin beberapa dari mereka untuk tinggal tapi hal itu gak terjadi.
